Universal Gifts

Have you noticed that as we scurry through life we fail to notice the little enchantments that mesmerized us as children? Flickering fireflies, rotund bumblebees, glorious wildflowers, fragrant grasses, and colorful evening sunsets? Mentally we note that we have experienced these things before and we can yet experience them again, but can we? For each of us there will come a time when we have reached the end of our journey and there will be an end to our sensory capabilities.

As we look to this day, we need to raise our own level of expectations as to the universal gifts that are all around us. By consciously looking for the good outcome, we become co-creators of the future. We find what we look for, we receive what we expect, and we appreciate what we hold dear. Reflect on this today and see if you can't be a good-finder like Martha was, and not only compliment someone and forget it, but compliment someone and watch how they reach for their potential because you noticed their gift. If not for your guidance, the person you cultivated may never have proceeded in a positive direction. ~ Judy Williamson
