Freedom

When we deny freedom to others, ultimately we are denying it to ourselves.  What we share expands, and what we hoard diminishes.  Planet earth is our physical home, but we are only leasing it for our period here.  We are not landlords, but renters and the care we extend to the earth will be reflected in the condition of the planet our children and grandchildren receive.

All inhabitants have universal sacred spiritual rights, and freedom is one of the abstract rights that becomes a very concrete help or hindrance depending upon whether a person has it or not.  Nobody else's freedom should infringe upon our own.  Isn't it time that we accept responsibility for making certain that the earth's people receive their birthright?  No individual, corporation, or nation, should exploit or trespass on another's freedom.  Tread softly to make the most impact.  Be certain that the size of your ego does not surpass the size of your soul.  Make freedom work for others before you ask for additional helpings for yourself.  Play fair. ~ Judy Williamson
