Finding Your Purpose
Ever wonder how to customize that path to your life's purpose? A good place to begin is at the beginning. Think back to your earliest memories. Those days when you were playing and lost all track of time and were just in the moment. Perhaps you were dancing, drawing, acting, or just marveling at the world around you as you stargazed. These were the moments you were in the zone and were not conscious of clock time. You were doing what you enjoyed doing and relished the activity. Upon reflection we discover that something we did as a child in play directly ties in to what we were placed on this planet to accomplish in our life's work.
Take a moment now and jot down those favorite playtime activities. See if you can relate them to what you now do as an adult. I would be willing to bet that there is a strong correlation between your job satisfaction and what you enjoyed doing before you began your formal education. Remember, when you mine for gold, always begin to dig first in your own back yard. That is where your greatest treasure lies. Now, pick up the shovel... and begin right where you are. It's often been said that your treasure is where your heart is. Know your heart's desire, and you have found your greatest treasure too. ~ Judy Williamson
